MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC

Did you know that if you type 'music' more than five times, it appears to be a very strange word? What an incredibly curious phenomenon. And now, back on the topic of said strange word. Music. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines music as:
a : The science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity.
b
: Vocal, instrumental, or mechanical sounds having rhythm, melody, or harmony.
or
c : An agreeable sound.

Well, to me music is mostly number C, namely, something that sounds good. Now people have different views of what sounds good, but most people agree universally on some things. These things are that Country music is ungodly horrible and that Elvis was awesome. I mean who else can pull of a sequin jumpsuit like he could? Yeah. That's right.

Another possible definition for music is a sonic expression of emotion. I mean, when have you ever heard a song that has absolutely no emotion in it, not including techno or mindless pop music. The purpose of music is to convey some sort of message or emotion, and so listening to that type of music when you are feeling that way helps you feel better. For instance, when I'm in an angry sort of mood I listen to Punk, Rock, etc. When I'm happy I listen to happy music, whatever that may be, and when I'm sad, well, this is the only time I don't listen to that kind of music cause I'm just not a blues kinda person. Here's a list of various bands I like to listen to whilst in various moods.
